SUR L'ADAMANT (ON THE ADAMANT)
The Adamant is a floating daycare centre located on the Seine River in the heart of Paris, designed for adults with mental disorders. Its residents come and go, dedicating the majority of their time to various art forms such as music, painting, photography, and more. Staff and counsellors are present to guide the process through art therapy.
Offering an intimate and tender look at the way mental health patients use art as a way of expressing and a means of coping, On the Adamant seeks to portray how art can be an effective form of healing and a safe space for individuals to express themselves freely without judgement.
